The Power of Three, a Little Gratitude, and a Whole Lot of Shift
Hey you,
It’s Easter weekend — and while the world is posting bunny pics and brunch spreads, I’ve been sitting with something deeper. Something small but mighty. And no, it’s not chocolate. (Though I’m very grateful for that too.)
It’s this:
A moment of gratitude can change your entire strategy.
This morning, I went for a glorious sunrise walk—barefoot in the sand, salt in the air, and a full-body reminder that clarity lives in motion.
Then I slid into the cold pool, heart pounding, fully awake.
I’m writing this from my favorite soul-recharge spot in Mexico—a little slice of beachside magic that doubles as the perfect outdoor office. I’m here working on a new project (coming soon!),….and living my vision in real time.
And as always, before I opened my laptop, I dropped into my practice:
I named my three.
Not a to-do list.
Not a hundred things I “should” be doing.
Just three things that matter. To me. Right now.
I’ve practiced this daily for years — and it’s become more than a habit. It’s a lifeline.
Because clarity doesn’t come from more hustle — it comes from less noise.
And on holidays especially, we forget that.
A Holiday is a Chance to Shift
Easter, at its core, is about renewal.
It’s about waking up to what matters.
It’s about gratitude — not guilt.
And it’s about choosing joy — not pressure.
So here’s the reframe I’m offering this weekend:
What if the shift you need isn’t more effort……It’s more clarity, more gratitude, and just three things that pull you forward?
The Rule of Three (Easter Edition)
Here’s your challenge — and invitation.
Grab a pen. Or your notes app. Or whisper it to the wind while you sip your morning coffee.
Name your three.
Not three tasks.
Three shifts. Three focuses. Three things that feel strategic and soul-aligned.
For example:
- Appreciation for what’s already here
- Space to slow down before the next sprint
- One bold move that makes everything lighter
Mine today?
- 🌅 Sunrise movement + gratitude
- 💡 Revisiting my vision for Q2 (from a place of play, not pressure)
- 💌 Writing this to you
Final Thought: Don’t Wait to Feel Ready
You don’t need a new month, new quarter, or perfect plan.
You just need a moment. A pause.
A shift.
And sometimes, the biggest strategy move is choosing less — but with more intention.
So… Happy Easter, beautiful thinker.
Whether you’re with family, flying solo, sprinting, or strolling — know this:
You’re allowed to reset, reimagine, and realign — anytime.
And the Rule of Three?
Still undefeated.With gratitude,
Deborah
