Having guided numerous aspiring entrepreneurs, I’ve encountered a common hurdle: feeling swamped by the intricacies of their grand vision and not knowing where to start.. Fear not; I’ve got some stellar advice for you.

Start by crafting an extensive list of the essentials.

What knowledge is crucial to validate and set your idea in motion?  How can you grow more at ease investing time and effort into nurturing your brainchild?

Ready to dive in?

Here are some probing questions to kickstart your journey:

  • Q: What do you need to know?
  • Q: What do you need to learn?
  • Q: What are you assuming – and who can help you validate your thoughts?
  • Q: Who do you need onboard to support your journey?
  • Q: What are the first steps you can do right now to move yourself along?
  • Identify the missing pieces in your vision that give you pause.
  • What concerns, gut feelings, and self-doubts surround your idea? What information would help quell these uncertainties?

Now, the pièce de résistance – compile a list of individuals who might hold the key to your inquiries. Think thought leaders, senior leaders, emerging leaders, peers, and even competitors on a global scale.

  • What assumptions underpin your idea? How can you validate or challenge these assumptions?
  • Why are you confident that your ideas are not just timely but also valuable and potentially profitable?

These questions kickstart your fact-finding mission, preparing you to embark on a journey with your ideas. If you’re eager to delve deeper, consider a ReThink Session with Deb to elevate your idea-walking experience. Ready to transform those thoughts into action? Let’s make it happen!
